There’s a new (affordable) way to sip wine with style this spring and summer.
Prepare yourself: $5 rosé is coming to Target, just in time for the season of chilled wines and warm evenings. We can’t wait to celebrate—probably with more rosé, because, hey, ’tis the season (almost).
You (and everyone you know, most likely) probably already turn to Target for just about everything. You probably also make endless (i.e. impulse buys) there. It’s nothing to be ashamed of: When you shop right, you can get amazing deals for quality products, such as Target’s new And now Target to its itinerary; if the wine wasn’t so affordable, our wallets would be in trouble.
This latest varietal, dubbed the California Roots Rosé, is a new addition to the line, which Target released last August to positive reviews—three of the five original varietals even won Best Buy scores from Wine Enthusiast. California Roots Rosé will be available at more than 1,100 Target stores across the country starting April 8, and the company has plans to make the collection available at almost 80 percent of stores by the end of the year.
All six varietals—Chardonnay, Pinot Grigio, Moscato, Cabernet Sauvignon, Red Blend, and now Rosé—ring in at $5, a great deal if you’re looking for a casual beverage to take to a picnic, a garden party, or even just an evening in front of the TV. With the addition of the rosé (which boasts notes of fresh berry and citrus), there’s a wine for nearly every occasion and setting—even those on a budget.
