Want to bolster your baking with intricate chocolate designs? All you need is parchment paper.
If you have ever wondered how pastry chefs write and draw so beautifully on cakes and pastries, you are going to love this mad genius tip. [MUSIC] The secret to this tip is every day parchment paper. First thing you are going to do is fold one corner of the parchment paper over to the opposite side. Take a knife or a sharp pair of scissors and just cut off the excess parchment paper. Put your finger right in the center of the parchment and fold over one of this corners towards the center to start to form this cone shape. And then go ahead and fold the other side over. [MUSIC] And pull the sides so that the tip of the cone Is closed just like that. Fold the open side of the cone into the center. And that's really gonna help it hold its shape. You could fill this with popcorn if you like. But obviously, we're gonna fill it with chocolate, melted chocolate. And you want it to be kind of room temperature because if it's too warm, it's gonna be too liquidy. And you're not gonna be able to get those beautiful designs. And once you've filled it with your chocolate you're gonna go ahead and fold over the open end and crease it. And you're gonna go ahead and snip of just the tip, just like that. If you'd like a bigger design go ahead and snip off a little bit more. Or if you wanna get fancy you can use a neat little stencil like these spooky spider webs for Halloween. Voila. We're gonna go ahead and let these hang out in a cool place until they're set. I'm gonna take a small offset spatula. Halloween perfect spider webs, the ultimate decoration for Halloween cupcakes.
