This easy trick will ensure you never have to flip an omelet again.
We've all been there. We've got a waffle iron as a gift or we've gone out to the store to buy. one thinking, we're making waffles on Sunday. And then we don't. And then we never do. Well I'm gonna teach you how to use your waffle iron to make an omelet. [MUSIC] I've preheated my waffle iron, and I'm just going to go ahead and coat it with some non stick spray. Because I'm a super fan of Denver omelets, I'm going to go ahead and make that today. So I'm starting with some ham. You hear that? It's sizzling away, and I'm also going to add some green pepper and some red onion. It already smells like a diner. And now come the eggs. What I'm gonna do is just gradually drizzle it over the other ingredients. Now, you're gonna let that go for about 30 seconds, and what you're looking for is the egg to just set around the edge of the waffle iron. You see that? [MUSIC] Okay, we're gonna go ahead and close the waffle iron. Don't lock it, we wanna allow the steam to escape. [MUSIC] Just like that. Look at it puff up. Look at it puff up and steam. That's creating all this fluffiness that we love. Alright, watch this. Look at that. Super fluffy omelet. I'm just gonna add some cheddar cheese. Gonna sprinkle it on one side. [MUSIC] That's. [BLANK_AUDIO] Look at that. That's my beautiful, beautiful omelet. Whoa, whoa! [LAUGH] Look at that cheese.
