The best way to repurpose Thanksgiving leftovers? An all-in-one savory waffle that’s supercrispy and totally festive.
One of the best things about Thanksgiving are the leftovers. But I'm so tired of putting them in a sandwich. That's why I've decided to make a Thanksgiving leftover's waffle. [MUSIC] So, the first ingredient we have here is stuffing. Then, turkey. Add that to your stuffing. and some cranberry sauce. Gonna give it a little sweetness. As well as some parsley or other herbs. Whatever you have on hand. And we're gonna hold that all together with some beaten egg. There we go. And although we've got some seasoning components, we're just gonna season it a little bit more. So add a little bit of pepper. And a nice pinch of salt. And go ahead and mix that together really well. You want to make sure you get a little bit of Thanksgiving in every bite. Look at that. So now I'm gonna go ahead and spread it on a preheated waffle iron. I've brushed it with a little bit of butter to keep it from sticking. And just make sure you spread it in a nice even layer, that way it cooks evenly. [SOUND] All right, we're going to let this go for about nine minutes. It's going to get an awesome crust and the inside is going to be perfectly cooked. All right, I am pretty sure it's ready because this whole room smells like Thanksgiving. Let's check it out. [MUSIC] Look at this waffle. You can see the little cranberries and the shreds of turkey. Got a little bit of the turkey, got a little bit of the cranberry. I will take this over a thanksgiving sandwich any day.
